***62st ISI World Statistics Congress 2019

August 18-23, 2019

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

https://goo.gl/eMFM7Z

The Bernoulli Society (BS) invites the submission of proposals for BS-sponsored Invited Paper Sessions (IPS) at the 2019 ISI World Statistics Congress, to be held from 18 to 23 August 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Proposals can be submitted as of 1 January 2018 using the electronic submission system on the WSC website.

If you wish that your proposed session is considered as a BS-sponsored session, please indicate this by choosing the Bernoulli Society as the primary related ISI Association in the relevant field. If you wish to list more than one Association, please note that your proposal will first be reviewed by the primary Association, under the guidance of its representative on the SPC.

Deadline for IPS proposals: 31 March 2018.

Each proposal should include: (1) a paragraph describing and justifying the proposed session; (2) a list of speakers and discussants that have agreed to participate; (3) an organizer, as well as a potential replacement in case that organizer declines. The selection criteria will take into account scientific quality, impact, and diversity. For Bernoulli Society sessions specifically, an effort will be made to strike a proper balance between statistics and probability in light of the typical composition of the body of WSC attendees.
